Mary Gehring won Best of Show for this section of Strilitzia reginae ovary. The material was prepared using the microwave technique and stained using Sharman's Safranin O and Fast Green FCF technique.
Vijay Sharma won second place with this slide of Sagina sp, (Caryophyllaceae). The carpel tissue was processed using the microwave technique and stained with Safranin O and Fast Green FCF.
